Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related role.
- Strong excel skills.
- Experience with data integrity and data cleaning processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple priorities.
- Experience handling conflict and difficult situations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for Data Integrity and Data Quality initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of land or real estate contracts
- Prior experience with cleansing/auditing customer billing or payments data
- Experience working in the energy sector or with energy-related data
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive data integrity assessments across different datasets and systems.
- Conduct data cleaning activities to rectify inconsistencies, inaccuracies, and duplications.
- Direct outreach to colleagues requesting they address data issues.
- Develop and implement data quality rules, standards, and processes.
- Work collaboratively with data owners, IT, and other stakeholders to align on data governance practices.
- Document data quality issues and remediation actions taken.
- Provide regular progress reports and data quality metrics to project leaders.
